What do I bring to my first appointment?
Insurance card and ID. Forms that are filled out If you are a pool patient bring your suit and towel on he 2nd visit. Have calendar so you can schedule additional appointments. 

What happens during my first visit?
On the first visit you will be evaluated by a Licensed Physical Therapist who will establish a plan of care. Your physician receives this evaluation and progress reports throughout your time in therapy.

How should I dress?
Comfortable clothing. Be able to get to the the injured part.  

How long will each treatment last?
Each visit lasts an hour.

How many visits will I need?
The doctor and therapist coordinate with your needs to maximize your recovery.

Why is physical therapy a good choice?
Physical therapy is a non invasive , hands on treatment that works to decrease pain, weakness and increase stability to enable you to reach your physical goals so you can do your life goals.

Why should I choose a private practice physical therapist?

Who pays for the treatment?
Your insurance pays for your physical therapy. You can call your insurance to find out exactly what they will cover. 

Who will see me?
A licensed physical therapist does your evaluation and is responsible for your care.

Will I receive a massage at physical therapy?
A massage therapist and a physical therapist are two different things but a physical therapist may use massage or manual therapy to reach the objectives.

How does the billing process work?
Billing is done at the facility for you and any questions can be answered quickly and directly.

What will I have to do after physical therapy?

The goal of physical therapy is to resolve your problem or give you skills to manage your injury independently.

All medical information is confidential.
